How to Scan Multiple Pages Into One PDF

A single PDF keeps a multi-page document together and in reading order. Good results begin with clear source photos, followed by consistent cropping and a final page-by-page check.

Photograph every page

Place pages flat in even light and keep the camera parallel. Include all four corners and retake any blurred page. Keep the pages together until the finished PDF has been checked.

Add the images

Open Document Scanner and choose up to 20 JPG, PNG, WebP or HEIC images. You can select several files at once. The scanner processes them locally in the browser.

Crop and enhance each page

Place the crop points on the document corners, correct rotation and apply an appropriate enhancement. Color preserves stamps and highlights, Grayscale removes color, and B&W can improve dark text but may hide faint marks.

Put pages in reading order

Open the Pages panel and drag each page into place. Check page numbers, front-and-back pairs and attachments. A clear filename also makes the downloaded document easier to identify later.

Export and inspect the PDF

Export the complete PDF, open it and move through every page. Check orientation, order, edge cropping and readability before sending it. The output contains page images and does not perform OCR or create editable text.

Use the tool

Ready to try it? Open Document Scanner. Your image is processed in your browser and is not uploaded to ImageGarage.
