How to Print Passport Photos on a 4×6 Sheet

A 4×6 sheet can hold several copies of a small identity photo, but the printed dimensions are correct only when both the generated layout and printer scaling are handled properly.

Confirm the required photo size

Use the current specification from the receiving authority. Similar-looking passport and visa photos can require different physical dimensions, head sizes or backgrounds.

Prepare and align the portrait

Add a clear photo to Passport Photo Maker, choose the matching preset, and align the face with the guides. Review the crop before building the print sheet because every copy uses the same prepared image.

Choose a 4×6 layout

Open the Print panel and select the 4×6 sheet option. The tool arranges multiple copies at their intended physical size. Use A4 instead when that paper size and workflow are required.

Print at actual size

In the printer dialog, choose 100% or Actual size. Disable options such as Fit to page, Shrink oversized pages or borderless expansion when they alter scale. Select the same paper size and orientation used by the generated sheet.

Measure before submitting

Print a test, measure the photo rectangle with a ruler and compare it with the official specification. Color, paper finish and cutting requirements may also be prescribed, so check those separately.

Use the tool
